Saturday April 5th SpeLA volunteered at Emerson Avenue Community Garden for our Founders Day service. It was wonderful afternoon tending the landscape together.

Sunday, April 6th we observed worship at West Angeles Church as guests of  Judge Mablean Ephriam, Pastor Blake II & Lady Blake.

Thank you Judge Ephriam for graciously welcoming us as your guests at West Angeles Church for our Founders Day Worship. and for hosting us at the marvelous brunch that followed at The Family Life Center. We deeply appreciate the hope and hospitality from Pastor Blake II and Lady Blake. The sermon was an enlightening reminder that storms may test our resolve but our faith is undaunted. What a blessing for NAASC-LA to celebrate 144 years of Spelman College with the congregation.
